Boomerang is Gladys Palmera's magazine programme, which marks a new era for the company. It's the successor of Sabrosura (emblematic show created over twenty years ago by Alejandra Fierro Eleta, who presented it until 2006), and is currently presented by Alex García. Boomerang exclusively covers the global sound scene. Its presenter offers listeners a musical selection replete with news and especially exclusives that embrace all possible musical genres on Gladys Palmera. The show also includes in-depth interviews, specials and specialised segments by expert contributors on different musical styles.
Sections:
Boomerang 2.0: Pablo Schvarzman, a producer and expert on new technologies, analyses the future outlook and benefits of the internet, especially in the field of music and comunication. Schvarzman sets out ideas, resources and examples that show that the web has become a magnificent cultural showcase. It also has a musical mashup section called Más Allá del Mash-up.
Cool&LatinJazz: José Arteaga, a writer and music journalist, directs this section dedicated to the current jazz and soul scene in its various forms.
Lollipop: Armand Rodríguez covers the current independent pop scene. This section showcases new bands breaking through in Spain..
